St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church

Henkelman Construction constructed this beautiful new sanctuary for the parishioners of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Kissimmee, FL.  The 11,000 square foot structure is a STAR pre-engineered metal building with an EIFS finish on the exterior.  The expansive interior accommodates more than 650 parishioners and was designed to easily expand to allow an additional 500 seats in the future.

Church of the Resurrection Ministry Center

Henkelman Construction worked closely with the Owner and Architect to complete this 12,400 square foot addition to the Parish Center for the Church of the Resurrection. The interior includes office space and a multi-function area. This three phase project also included a 6,200 square foot renovation and extensive site work.

First Baptist Church at the Mall

Henkelman Construction completed an extensive renovation for First Baptist Church at the Mall. Over 100,000 square feet of existing meeting and office areas were transformed to provide space for child care facilities, play areas, new meeting and classroom areas, etc. New finishes were included throughout the facility, including a specially designed terrazzo floor feature in the main corridor.

First Baptist Church of Polk City New Sanctuary

First Baptist Church of Polk City selected Henkelman Construction, Inc. to provide Construction Management services for construction of their new sanctuary. This project consisted of building a new, 9,395 square foot pre-engineered STAR Metal Building. This beautiful sanctuary was completed through the successful collaboration of Henkelman Construction, Inc., David H. Wulff, Architect, Inc., and the many dedicated staff and parishioners of First Baptist Church of Polk City.

St. Ann Catholic Church

This project consisted of a renovation and addition to the existing sanctuary.

Henkelman Construction was able to increase their seating capacity from 800 to 1600 seats. The interior ceilings were constructed of stained tongue and groove wood. Careful design and planning ensured that new finishes matched the existing church.

First United Methodist Church of Sebring

The Multi-Purpose Building for First United Methodist Church is a two-story, pre-engineered metal building with a stucco exterior and tile roof. The first floor of the structure, totalling over 13,560 square feet, contained a full basketball court and stage, along with a full service kitchen and dining area. Classrooms were constructed on the 5,380 square foot second floor.

Southside Baptist Church

Southside Baptist Church’s two-story, 9,684 square foot Multi-Purpose Building is a pre-engineered metal structure with a stucco finish and brick corners.

The interior includes a full gymnasium, kitchen and restrooms on the first floor. Classrooms and meeting rooms were constructed on the second floor. There is an elevated walkway from the second floor across an alley and tied into the existing building for additional access. The staff of Henkelman Construction coordinated the installation of owner-supplied kitchen and audio/visual equipment.

First Baptist Church of Bartow

First Baptist Church’s new Multi-Purpose Building is a 36,000 square foot structure. It consists of a prefabricated metal building with metal stud and stucco exterior. The interior of the building features a 6,000 square foot multi-use area for basketball, volleyball and a large gathering area surrounded by classrooms, offices, and a full-service kitchen.

First Presbyterian Church of Lake Wales

The 38,000 square foot Multi-Purpose Building for First Presbyterian Church of Lake Wales is a masonry structure with a brick exterior, metal truss and bar joist roof system with built-up and shingle roofs. The interior layout includes a gymnasium, a full kitchen, meeting rooms and restrooms. An elevated exercise walkway was constructed at the second floor level.
