Description

Southside Baptist Church's two-story, 9,684 square foot Multi-Purpose Building is a pre-engineered metal stucture with a stucco finish and brick corners. The interior includes a full gymnasium, kitchen and restrooms on the first floor. Classrooms and meeting rooms were constructed on the second floor. There is an elevated walkway from the second floor across an alley and tied into the existing building for additional access. The staff of Henkelman Construction coordinated the installation of owner-supplied kitchen and audio/visual equipment.

Description

Covenant Presbyterian Church's 13,900 square foot sanctuary features the unique architectural design of a sixty-five foot tall bell tower. The masonry building also contains offices, a choir room, a work room, and a library.

Henkelman Construction completed an extensive renovation for First Baptist Church at the Mall. Over 100,000 square feet of existing meeting and office areas were transformed to provide space for child care facilities, play areas, new meeting and classroom areas, etc. New finishes were included throughout the facility, including a specially designed terrazzo floor feature in the main corridor.

Description

The new Multi-Purpose Building for North Ridge Baptist Church is a 40,000 square foot, two-story facility, which includes an indoor basketball court, full-service kitchen, and classroom areas. The exterior of the structure consists of stucco-finished block walls and a steel barjoist roof system.

Description

First Baptist Church's new Multi-Purpose Building is a 36,000 square foot structure. It consists of a pre-fabricated metal building with metal stud and stucco exterior. The interior of the building features a 6,000 square foot multi-use area for basketball, volleyball and a large gathering area surrounded by classrooms, offices, and a full-service kitchen.

Description

This project consisted of a renovation and addition to the existing sanctuary. Henkelman Construction was able to increase their seating capacity from 800 to 1600 seats. The interior ceilings were constructed of stained tongue and groove wood. Careful design and planning ensured that new finishes matched the existing church.
