DescriptionPolk's Nature Discovery Center consists of classrooms, exhibit and museum space, and a banquet facility. This new Discovery Center provides a natural environment for the children of Polk County to learn about the plant and wildlife of Florida. Car paths, bike paths, and boardwalks were provided to allow access to Lake Hancock. This project has been widely recognized and has been considered for several awards from the State of Florida.
