RON HENKELMAN
President
Ron graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Building Construction and a desire to make an impact on the local community. He founded Henkelman Construction, Inc. in 1993 and united his passion for building with his devotion to providing a rare commodity in the industry…trust. Ron’s diligence, honesty, and integrity have formed the philosophies still upheld today by all Henkelman Construction employees. These values gained him great respect by architects, owners, subcontractors, and even competitors.
GARY HENKELMAN
Vice President
Gary joined Henkelman Construction, Inc. as Vice President in 1994. Since that time, he has earned a reputation for providing an aboveboard approach to each project, as Project Executive, leaving no room for error. In 2008, he furthered the education he received from the University of Florida by returning to his alma mater for instruction on the LEED® program. He is now one of our LEED® Accredited Professionals.
RICK ROACH
Director of Business Development
Rick has over thirty years of experience in Commercial Construction and Construction Management. Having worked in the past for other organizations as both an owner’s representative and as a representative in the arena of General Contracting, he has developed an appreciation for both sides of the contract. Rick knows how to put the best interest of the client at the forefront, and how to get the job done right the first time from a construction standpoint. This insight makes him the perfect choice for Henkelman Construction’s Director of Business Development.
MARK WATKINS
Director of Field Operations
Mark joined Henkelman Construction, Inc. in 2001 with over 25 years of previous construction experience. He also has a successful military background, which has given him an edge in his organizational skills. As a Project Manager, he oversaw most of Henkelman Construction’s retail projects, which included numerous Goodyear Service Centers and Badcock Home Furniture stores in multiple states. His quick thinking and exceptional problem solving skills make him a favorite with owners. In his role as Director of Field Services, he oversees all field operations, and heads up the firm’s safety committee to enforce and update current policies.
ROB HENNESSEY
Project Manager
Rob’s history with Henkelman Construction, Inc. began while working summers during his time in college. The knowledge and experience gained in those summers lead to a love for construction and a change in major. Rob is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Building Construction, and a LEED Accredited Professional. Rob is highly involved in the estimating phase of each project. The background knowledge he acquires from the pre-construction phase allows him to keep his projects on schedule and on budget.
